This policy explains what Intent collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Mobile number you give us to join the waitlist.
- The option you pick (“I need things” or “I have things”).
- Referral code, if you arrived through an invite link.
- Usage information and cookies, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site working.
How we use it
- To manage the waitlist and let you know when Intent is ready for you.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To understand how people find us, including through invites.
- To comply with the law.
We don’t sell or share your number
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers who help us deliver messages, and only for that purpose.
Text messages
- By submitting your number, you agree to receive a text from Intent.
- Message frequency: one message, when your access is ready.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email privacy@intenthandle.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Data retention
We keep waitlist information until you’re given access, ask us to delete it, or it’s no longer needed for the purposes above, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@intenthandle.com. If you live in California or another state with similar laws, you may also have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We don’t sell personal information, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Intent is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
